Winter camp in Finnish Lapland

Finland is an excellent destination for a winter adventure. During the tour, the groups are able to learn traditional but vital wilderness and survival skills, and try activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. During the winter adventure camp, students will also get familiar with Finland’s geography, nature and traditional way of life. The snowy Lapland winter is made for adventures. It provides an opportunity to experience the snow-white nature and feel the fresh air invigorate your body.

An example itinerary for a winter camp

Provided an example of what a three-day camp could contain. All camps are individually tailored to meet the wishes and needs of the group.

Winter camp offers the opportunity

to spend time outdoors
to chase the northern lights
to prepare food over a campfire,
to warm up a Finnish sauna
to spend a day in the life of a Finnish child or adolescent
to gain knowledge and skills about exercise, the English language, geography, biology, handicrafts and Finnish culture

Would you like to spend a day in the life of a Finnish child or an adolescent? The camp provides a glimpse of the basic education in Finland, which is known for its high quality and excellent learning results. Campers will participate in lessons and will be able to meet and socialize with local children and adolescents. The camp will culminate in a visit to the one and only real Father Christmas.
